I painted this on a winter night when it was cold, dark and the news had been particularly bad that day. I painted this with a sense of holding myself with warmth and holding the Earth with more love. Sometimes that's all we can do. Sometimes that has to be enough -- hold ourselves and this great big beautiful planet.
