I recently watched a doggie shelter doggie sleepover video. Yes, that meant each dog in a kennel got to snuggle with a human all night long. The kennels were filled with soft and colorful bedding. The dogs looked so happy, wiggling and cuddling with their humans. And the volunteers were all snuggly-buggly, clad in their jammies. And the raucous barking noise you typically hear at rescues? Nope. It was quiet. Calm. Happy. Love. I have never seen quite the soft landing for both humans and dogs. May we all have more soft landings in our lives -- kinda like this painting.
