 I love leaving the line art of little heart imprints on handwritten notes. It just makes me feel better. 2 Shwoop Shwoop lines and there’s a heart. 2 more Shwoop Shwoop lines and there’s another heart. Two lines that seem like nothing but are everything.

And I also love color. And I mean aaaaaaaall the color. 

So, it made a lot of sense to me that one of my first watercolor paintings had to have a heart and all the colors – a rainbow. And of course, this heart over a rainbow had to be anchored in lots of lush grass for feel-good feet on the earth.

To me, this image is just a great reminder of the simple, yet powerful, things to bring us back into centering ourselves in the goodness of life. Beating hearts. Rainbows of color. Lush grass. 

Mmm. Take that in.
